This painting has been in the making for months and every now and then I  do something new to it. Finally I redid it one more time.

Thanks for all your comments. Happy you like the pieces. I have started to pay more attention to composition and am studying a book called Watercolor by Design by Marianne K. Brown. She uses the grid and from the grid you can come with designs. It is good because you don’t always have to depend on chance. You don’t have to only use watercolors. You can use other media in the designs. Have a great Sunday. Love,Silvia

This is pretty Silvia. Wonder if you were listening to Bach or Beethoven while you worked on this piece?

Silvia…..so much to discover in this work….wonderful!

Silvia…….a word of caution on using the grid…….you don’t need to “design” better paintings…..just “express” your feelings which you do so well. When we start to design we “think” rather than feel. Just continue expressing your beautiful self. Robert
